Default So Jack and Terri had problems in the beginning just because…

They first got acquainted at the hospital where Terri gave Jack a shot?! Only Jack’s silly ass would get upset over that. I mean, what else could it have been?

I can’t believe someone would hold a grudge against someone just because the person gave them a shot

I was just wondering if Jack was acting out of character in Terri's introductory episodes. He flat out tells Janet that he doesn't like Terri after first meeting her at the hospital and soon conspires with Larry a way to get rid of her.

He probably thought he would never see her again and when Janet introduced her he instantly remembered their situation at the hospital

I interpreted it as Jack feeling that Terri was coming on to him too strongly. I kind of get that if that's where Jack was coming from. Sometimes, we don't know how to react to people who we feel have too assertive of a personality when the situation otherwise, doesn't really call for it.

And I'm sure that Jack felt that Terri went out of her way to humiliate him and make him look like a complete fool, by having him drop his pants for his shot.

Granted, Jack himself isn't an innocent party as instead of waiting for Terri to treat him, he just barges into the emergency room while Terri is in the middle of treating a man with a separated shoulder. Of course, it's safe to assume that a separated shoulder is much more dire than Jack and his cut finger.

So probably, both Jack and Terri didn't get along at first, because of miscommunication.
