Default Sarah Silverman: Michael Richards yelled at me on the Seinfeld set

https://www.indiewire.com/2021/01/sa...et-1234613016/

On her podcast, Silverman revealed an uncomfortable moment from her 1997 guest appearance on the hit NBC comedy. “This guy, Michael Richards, breaks character and just starts ripping me a new a**hole,” Silverman said, according to Indiewire. “He points to the window and he goes, ‘Do you see rain in that window? Do you see rain in that window?’ and I go, ‘No,’ and he says, ‘Then why did you say rain?’ It’s not rain. There’s no rain in that window! The line is ‘wind’!” The next day, when Richards tried to pretend nothing happened, Silverman says she snapped. “And finally, I just cut him off and I say, ‘I don’t give a f***!’” Silverman said. “And he’s kind of stunned, and it’s like he snapped out of it a little."

So Michael Richards yelled at Sarah Silverman? Hmmm, I can't imagine why. I've never been able to stand her.

They are both scum IMO, so I couldn't care less that this happened.

And why did she wait 15 years after both have become completely irrelevant to reveal this? I mean, seriously, these two hacks peaked over a decade ago but she's talking like everyone's supposed to be riveted by all this, like when Bette Davis talked trash about Faye Dunaway on the Tonight Show. Like, who cares, Sarah Silverman? You and Richards are washed up.

I'm not at all surprised. Years ago, Kathy Griffin said Jerry Seinfeld yelled at her, as well. This was in an era when stars would treat other people badly, long before social media.

Richards was a perfectionist and didn't have a lot of time for mistakes. It's not a shocking revelation. And I can't come down on Seinfeld for yelling at Kathy Griffin. She has to be one of the most annoying, talentless, least funny comedians to ever make it in the business. She has a voice like nails on a chalkboard.

I also don't blame Jerry Seinfeld for yelling at Kathy Griffin; it's clear they were under a lot of pressure on the show. People are going to snap from time to time. It's just human nature.
