Question What if Priscilla Presley became an Angel

Rumor has it that she was considered for as a potential Angel in the show's earliest stages. Aaron Spelling apparently offered Priscila Presley a role and a rather lucrative paycheck, but she declined because "she disliked the show".

Quote:
“At the time she didn’t like the concept of the series. She didn’t mind when it finally came out, and she loves the girls they hired,” the source notes, likely alluding to the original trio of Kate Jackson, Farrah Fawcett and Jaclyn Smith. “But it wasn’t right for her. She has no regrets.”

She was so wooden in Dallas, that I am glad she never joined the show. She would have made Shelley Hack look like Meryl Streep!

Speaking of Priscillas, Priscilla Barnes apparently went pretty far (semi-finals at least) in the casting hunt for the role of Julie for the fifth season of Charlie's Angels per a newspaper article at the time. Tanya Roberts of course, ultimately got the part and Barnes would wind up on Three's Company.

Wooden??

She was hilarious in the Naked Gun trilogy!

Don't make Kate Jackson to be an Academy award winner of something. Priscilla was much hotter too & a lot of this show was about eye candy you know.

Priscilla would've made a great Angel but this show needed better writing to survive longer than 5 seasons.

I'm a big fan of gorgeous Priscilla Barnes in Three's Company but I don't think this show is a very good fit for her. She was considered probably because she was in a similar show early in her career that had 2 girls instead of 3 but it went nowhere.

She's much better suited for Three's Company.

If writing was the criteria the show wouldn't have lasted 10 minutes.

I think the only reason the show became a phenomenon was Farrah. Jacqueline Smith was gorgeous but forgettable and Kate Jackson was just forgettable.

Leaving Charlie's Angels after only ONE season was the dumbest career move Farrah could've made & has to rank as one of the dumbest moves in Hollywood history.

She went from being internationally famous to tanking her career & never having a hit nearly as big as Angels again!
