If you loved cooking shows with a nice feel you probably remember watching The Frugal Gourmet a lot. While Julia Child and Graham Kerr had competition Jeff Smith was truly a chef who really mastered tons of recipes and taught you the ABC's of cooking delicious food earning his nickname The Frugal Gourmet. While the show was popular it also made The Frugal Gourmet a huge celebrity in cooking selling dozens of cookbooks and more and even featured an episode with the cast of Sesame Street that was so cute. Jeff Smith passed away in the 90's but he will be remembered by all as The Frugal Gourmet. It is really a shame that we don't have cooking shows like The Frugal Gourmet because Jeff Smith should be a role model for today's TV chefs

Smith died in 2004 and faced child sex abuse allegations in the late ‘90s. He denied the claims and no criminal charges were filed, however he paid the alleged victims an undisclosed settlement. His TV career was done after that.

Yes, and this was not one or two cases. Seven men claimed he molested them as teenagers so there were probably more that didn't come forward. Another gay child molester case.
