Default Just started watching this & did you know....?

that Richard Kline from Three's Company fame is in 9 episodes?

Not a bad show show but not fantastic either. I love the theme music & ambience of a fancy restaurant on top of a skyscraper!

Plus I prefer the 80s style comedies ANY DAY over the awful sitcoms of today.

I noticed that there were several actors who "before they were famous" appeared on the show. There were for example, Michael Richards (pre-Seinfeld of course) as a terrorist, Bob Saget (pre-Full House) as a doctor, Jonathan Frakes (pre-Star Trek: TNG) as a guy that the girls meet at a singles bar in Season 4, Dustin Diamond (pre-Saved by the Bell) as a young Sonny, and Jane Leeves (pre-Frasier) as one of Sonny's love interests.

It's too bad Kline never got to co star in a sitcom again after Three's Company. He's the best supporting actor/co-star in sitcom history!

What sitcom did he co-star in after TC??

The problem with him getting his own show is I question how good he would be on his own. Almost all his humor on TC came from his interactions with Jack.

His own show may have worked but I think he should've done another supporting role like he did in TC which never happened again.

He played the husband of one of the main characters, Jan (I think his name was Richie).

Richard Kline was only in 9 episodes of "It's a Living" & was only given a few minutes each episode so he was hardly a co-star.

Unfortunately, he never co - starred in a sitcom again like he did in Three's Company.
