'Road Runner' debate on Cheers - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

In the Season 4 episode "The Triangle", Carla claims to have seen, years before at a drive-in, a Road Runner cartoon which had two Road Runners. Was this just a claim made to amp up the argument (by the show writers) or, outside of some old Dell Road Runner comics, did anything feature more than one Road Runner?

Instead of buying contraptions to trapped the Road Runner, why didn't the Coyote just buy himself a meal?

In one of the cartoons, he finally catches the Road Runner, but it ends with him holding a sign asking "Now what do I do?".
