Most of Julia's rants started with "Alright! That's IT!" She could chew someone out better than anyone I've ever seen on TV or in real-life! She could do it with authority and assertion yet she was never vulgar or trashy. As a southern woman myself, she's my hero!!

It just occured to me, actor Conrad Bain, was married to a "Golden Girl" (Rue McClanahan), on Maude; and a "Designing Woman" (Dixie Carter) on Diff'rent Strokes.

She nearly loses Reese in the first one and then lost him in the latter. And I couldn't help but be sad because she's talking about the glimpse of the big circle, and it was so beautiful. I think of so many times Dixie should have been nominated, and she never was. Ok I jumped off track...

I love the episode where she and Mary Jo get trapped underneath the horny anchorman's bed, as well as Mamed from the sixth season where she becomes a tyrant during Mame. I thought it was funny in "Of Human Bondage" where she gets drunk and sings "The Wanderer" and "Payne Grows Up" where she sings "Sweet Georgia Brown."

Too many favorite moments. I'll have to come back to that later...
Totally ironic-Dixie's Julia nursed Hal Holbrook's Reese and then lost him. In real life Hal, Dixie's real life husband nursed her through her cancer and then lost her. And yes she should have been nominated-Dixie totally rocked as Julia Sugarbaker.

Julia telling off Ray Don in the cocktail lounge (when he sat himself down at their table uninvited) and she spoke on behalf of all the women being hit on by jerks.

That's my favorite Julia moment. The 4 women have to share one room in New Orleans while Anthony has his own room and all the other women are keeping Julia from going to sleep. She shouts something like this, out the window. 'Hey, hey New Orleannns! My name is Julia Sugarbaker and I'm going to go sleep in Anthony Bouvier's room! He is black, I am white! We are not engaged! And he is significantly younger than I am!'

I would probably have to agree with you on this scene. She did that song justice. Such a beautiful voice, and you could tell she was singing with conviction, not just a person singing a song.

It was also nice to see a softer side of Julia. Don't get me wrong, I love "The Terminator" just as much as everyone else does but I also like seeing a different side from time to time.

My favorite Julia moment is in the episode “ Killing All The Right People.” She told off Imogene good and she deserved it.

Julia -“And another thing. My son has an A in Chemistry. In fact, he is making all A’s in everything. Including P.Eeeeeeeeee!!!! 😂😂😂Classic Julia!
