Big Brother seems to be suffering from a structure that promotes having too many alliances. "Almost everyone spends most of the week safe and comfortable, especially if they’re in an alliance that is connected to the head of household—and with large alliances, that’s very likely," says Andy Dehnart. "I think that’s the central problem: a format that doesn’t require everyone to feel in constant jeopardy, and doesn’t give them the ability to do much of anything, as the players can only vote for one of the two people who’ve been nominated." |
