Raven Symoné started off as the adorable little girl on The Cosby Show, and after hitting it big(ger) with her Disney forays, she disappeared for awhile. After a years-long break, she churned out a few movies, and in her most memorable role to date, she returned to television on The View, and has caused major controversy every step of the way. Hollywood doesn't seem too interested in Symoné's talents beyond being a talking head on a daytime TV show, and there's probably a*good reason for that. I wonder if Raven may have overstayed her welcome at Disney? She was still around when Miley Cyrus and the rest of them (i.e. Selena Gomez and Demi Lovato) were starting out and they took her ready made audience.

Even if that was the case they still evidently took a liking to her again since they ended up giving her another series (Raven's Home).
