I've been wondering lately if David Caruso simply "retired" after CSI: Miami went off the air like his old NYPD Blue co-star Dennis Franz or Hollywood blackballed him. Even while working on NYPD Blue, he did develop a reputation as difficult. He apparently, maintained his reputation as a diva come CSI: Miami, and has often been described as moody and neurotic by others who worked on the show. Two people allegedly quit CSI: Miami because of him! Kim Delaney and Rory Cochrane.
