Olga says "Also fix toaster. Toast now stay down, no more popping up." If Olga knew what a toaster was, wouldn't she know that that's how a toaster is supposed to function?

Also, Thelma tells her mother that she learned to drive when she was 63. But in the season one show in which she gets a job at a travel agency, Naomi tells Thelma that she has half of her life ahead of her, to which Thelma responds "How many people do you know live to be 130?". This would mean that she was 65 in season one, even though the episode where she gets her license was in season two.

Another blooper...but not necessarily big is the one where Eunice is choking Ellen. After her hands are release, it is apparent that Betty White is holding her own neck. I was wondering if Carol Burnett choked White too hard?

In some eps. Effie is Thelma's cousin; in others, she is her sis. in law. Also, no one mentioned that in some eps., Iola's mom is portayed as a shut in; in others, they make reference to her having been to church, lost, at the yogurt store, etc.

Also it is strange that in what should be the first synd. ep. (Fran's Funeral), twice Thelma makes the comment, no Buzz and Sonja. After that, there is no reference to them, nor even to the fact that Vint has any kids.

Also, the ep. where Themla attends her 'junior high' reunion is highly suspect. They did TRY to maintain consistency (since Thelma didn't graduate), but how many JH's have reunions?

[QUOTE=tito]At first, there were two teenagers. Later on, there was only one, thus freeing up a bedroom. Why did Vint & Naomi still stay in the basement?

Buzz's room was in the attic.

In season 2, at the beginning of "Return of Leonard Oates" episode there is a hilarious blooper. But if you blink you might miss it.

Mama and Naomi are arguing at the Food Circus express lane. Naomi tells Vint, "the sooner you pack up those groceries, the sooner you can take that bag home". After that dialogue you can see Vint in the background trying to open a paper bag and it goes flying out of his hands!

When Vint and Naomi are going to have a baby, Vint says he wants to name the baby Vinton Jr. if he's a boy. Buzz's real name was Vinton Jr. Guessing that by then, everyone was so far removed from the NBC series that no one bothered to check or maybe even know that fact at all.

Season 5 EP 06 "Found Money"

When Thelma is yelling about Iola holding her mail Iola leaves since she is late for the bulb show. When the camera swings back around to Thelma who is heading to the bank when she goes out the door the big grandfather clock in the living room is all tilted sideways.

This is just my eye the other evening starts off straight like always but as she is walking out the final showing it of it the darn thing is leaning hard to the left. LOL
