They actually let her go for Shelley Hack! Either way, how come the network and the producers didn't have her at the very least, "guest appearances" like they pressured Farrah Fawcett to do?

Kate asked permission to quit and they let her out of it. Farrah simply quit.

Well, according to Charlie's Angels Casebook, Kate Jackson was very difficult to work with to put things nicely. She was allegedly condescending, rude, insulting and was especially horrible to Cheryl Ladd. So in actuality, the show terminated her contract.
