TMC Member Forum Idol Join Date: Jan 09, 2001 Posts: 124,642	Jussie Smollett files countersuit against Chicago over his "malicious prosecution" https://pagesix.com/2019/11/20/jussi...te-crime-hoax/ The former Empire star responded to the city of Chicago filing suit against him for $130,000 with his own counterclaim that not only targets the city, but the detectives on the case Police Superintendent Eddie Johnson and brothers Abimbola Osundairo and Olabinjo Osundairo, who were involved in the incident. Smollett's lawsuit alleges that the “malicious prosecution” caused “substantial economic damages as well as reputational harm, humiliation, mental anguish and extreme emotional distress.”
