Question Who had the best reactions to Rose's St. Olaf stories?

Which of the three Golden Girls had the best annoyed reactions to Rose's St. Olaf stories, Dorothy, Sophia or Blanche?

Well definitely not Dorothy, the queen of impatience and sarcasm. And not Sophia, crabby and impatient. So that leaves Blanche, and the worst I remember of her reaction to Rose’s stories is occasionally being a little patronizing. So I vote for Blanche.

I thought Dorothy had the best reactions. Her facial expressions were priceless.

Yes though didn't she hand a newspaper to Dorothy to bat Rose on the head with? I think by the end the stories had become stock and the audience anticipated them, thus weakening their dramatic impact.

LOL, Well, I guess falling asleep while leaning against a refrigerator was probably the ultimate comment on how annoying Rose's stories were.

So I'm going with Sophia.

It sounds like you're taking the question to mean who had the "friendliest" reaction to Rose's stories, but I take it to mean who had best reactions visually/comedically. And for me, that's definitely Dorothy!

I never find them "annoying". Conversely, out of Sophia's "Picture It" Sicily stories, Blanche's steamy southern stories, and Rose's silly St. Olaf stories, I find Rose's stories the most entertaining ones by far!

Agreed, wholeheartedly. I was referring to the other three girls finding Rose's stories "annoying." Not me.

I am a Betty White UBER-FAN.

Yes that is how I interpreted the question. BUT if you interpret the question to mean “the funniest for the viewer” then YES Dorothy. Dorothy’s tart acerbic bit**ery was priceless.

lol, gotcha. I thought you were probably meaning "annoying" from the other girls' viewpoints. That used to always mystify me when I was younger..."How can you not love these stories??"
