Leslie Jones is going from SNL to Supermarket Sweep

A reboot of the classic game show is in the works with Jones -- fresh from exiting Saturday Night Live -- as host. According to Deadline, a number of networks are interested in bidding on Supermarket Sweep, including ABC, Fox, Netflix and NBC.

Supermarket Sweep is gonna have a female host this time? That's surprising to me and I hope that Leslie Jones does an awesome job and even better than David Ruprecht. Though I would've hoped that someone like Kelsey Grammer or Donny Osmond would've gotten the hosting job I hope David Ruprecht is extremely happy that Leslie Jones will do Supermarket Sweep just as well as he did. I also wonder if it will have Joe Cipriano do the commentary during the iconic Big Sweep just as Randy West and Johnny Gilbert did on the original version. I do hope CBS is chosen as the channel to air it or syndication because Supermarket Sweep is a great game show
