Now, CBS O&O's and CW affiliates owned by CBS has posted a video of the AT&T dispute on their stations.



Among its stations are WCBS-TV and WLNY-TV (New York), KCBS-TV and KCAL-TV (Los Angeles), WBBM-TV (Chicago), KYW-TV and WPSG-TV (Philadelphia), KTVT-TV and KTXA-TV (Dallas-Ft. Worth), KPIX-TV and KBCW-TV (San Francisco), WUPA-TV (Atlanta), WBZ-TV and WSBK-TV (Boston), KSTW-TV (Seattle), WTOG-TV (Tampa-St. Petersburg), WWJ-TV and WKBD-TV (Detroit), WCCO-TV (Minneapolis-St. Paul), WFOR-TV and WBFS-TV (Miami), KCNC-TV (Denver), KOVR-TV and KMAX-TV (Sacramento), KDKA-TV and WPCW-TV (Pittsburgh) and WJZ-TV (Baltimore), as well as WCCO-TV’s satellite station KCCW-TV (Walker, Minn.).

Nothing on it in the summer. While I'm sure there is greed on both ends, it's temporary and likely a deal will be reached before the NFL season. Viewers who miss Big Brother or whatever show they want can use an antenna or purchase CBS All Access.

Really dumb move from Directv considering CBS affiliates are available free over the air. I have heard about Dish often dropping network affiliates as well. Comcast is overpriced but they wouldn't be that stupid to drop a major network affiliate.

That is actually an argument for DirecTV to drop the CBS stations, because those stations are available free over the air.

Nextstar owner of Many CBS and NBC and ABC stations they are also in a dispute with DirectTV and ATT

and Meredith Broadcast Group owner of some Fox affiliate station they are in a Dispute with dish network and all their stations is black out on DISH

and Fox Regional Sports channels was in a dispute wth DISH also and they got a extention while they continue talks

AT&T and CBS are already locked in a battle over whether or not the telecom giant will be able to carry programming from local CBS stations. Now they are fighting about the fight.

Speaking during a call with investors Wednesday, AT&T Chairman and CEO Randall Stephenson suggested the two companies are not that far apart on terms that would make CBS stations available again for approximately 6.6 million subscribers to the company’s DirecTV or U-verse services. “The bid asked candidly is not that wide, but it’s kind of an interesting dynamic,” Stephenson said. “We sent, that was a reasonable, fair offer over five days ago, and that’s been crickets. We haven’t heard anything.”

“CBS is seeking fair market value,” CBS said in a statement Wednesday, noting that it is “now seeking market rates from AT&T similar to what AT&T’s competitors believe our programming is worth.” The company added that it “remains ready and available to negotiate and as of today its offer of an unconditional 30-day extension still stands.” CBS also said it was prepared to entertain extending its deal with AT&T for a time to keep discussions active, but suggested AT&T wanted the extension agreement to encompass terms that were not part of the deal that had existed between the two media titans.
