Why Didn't Steve Landesberg Have Bigger Career? - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

I mean after Barney Miller ended in 1982 he didn't have another screen credit until 5 years later. Was it a case of a comic actor like Steve not wanting to do anything right away, as most sitcom actors face typecasting or even just plain rejection after a long running show ends?

IT WAS STEVE F'N LANDESBERG! He never should of had a career on TV in the first place!
