Unlike NBC's failed The Tracy Morgan Show, which was canceled after the 2003-04 season, Morgan wanted The Last O.G. to bring an authentic portrayal of his life. The Last O.G. isn't made for white viewers, unlike The Tracy Morgan Show's The Cosby Show-like premise.
