Why would She's the Sheriff be considered a "punishment" for Suzanne Somers? Sure, the show wasn't well received critically (I think that in 2002, TV Guide named it as one of the 50 worst television shows ever aired), but she finally got to work on-screen again following her roughly 7 year long blacklisting. If anything, getting in effect, blacklisted due to contract dispute on Three's Company was punishment enough.
