Do restaurant piano players like Sonny still exist
I've never been to a restaurant like the one depicted on It's a Living, but I would like to imagine that if there were music being played, it would be handled by an in-house DJ instead of a lounge pianist. Think of that movie The Wedding Singer, which was set in the '80s since theoretically, professional wedding singers like the one that Adam Sandler portrayed, weren't used much anymore by the late '90s.
