Dancing fans took to Twitter to express outrage over Bones' victory, especially since he came into the competition with no dancing experience. "While there have certainly been shocking results before (remember Donny Osmond over Mýa or Donald Driver over Katherine Jenkins?), the judges’ score discrepancy — and the skill level — between Bones and the other finalists loomed large. Bones’s victory caused a stir online, as ecstatic messages from country music stars and his fans rolled in . . . while others were less than pleased with the results," says Emily Yahr. ALSO: Dancing finale falls to a new ratings low. |

I agree it's ridiculous. Keo and Evonna were robbed and they should've won! Bobby Bones did improve but not much and should've been eliminated from the show weeks ago.

I think Milo should've won. Wasn't fair for the others.

I don't think the victory of Bobby Bones on DWTS was the biggest upset because i'm glad i did not watch it in favor of MNF. Bones should've been eliminated anytime before the DWTS finale took place earlier this week.

DWTS will need to make changes in how votes are done next year, or lose more of their audience It has become a popularity contest

Dancing with the Stars is increasingly rewarding popularity over dance skills
"More and more, mediocre contestants with large, passionate, eager-to-vote fanbases are making it to the finale over contestants who A) were excellent from Week One, or B) put in the work to become excellent over time," says Rebecca Iannucci in wake of Bobby Bones' surprise victory last week. She adds: "The show has revealed, with increasing frequency, that it doesn’t much matter if a contestant earns high marks or makes noticeable improvement each week. All these amateurs seem to need is a gaggle of fans who will vote tirelessly for their favorite — and that’s not a competition I’m interested in watching." |

I was actually happy that Bobby Bones won because he was the most entertaining.
And Sharna deserved the trophy -- she had been a finalist before but never won. |

Dancing with the Stars champ Bobby Bones: "I’m never dancing again. I have retired from dancing"
"The dancing thing was crazy because I went into it not knowing how hard it actually was," he tells People. "Being around the pros and actually seeing them do their thing, they’re professional athletes.” |
