ABC is "eyeing a second season," according to TVLine. The Roseanne spinoff may have declined in the ratings since its October premiere netted 10.6 million total viewers, but it has become ABC's No. 1 comedy. It is also ABC's No. 2 show after Grey's Anatomy.

I remember a lot of people saying they would boycott the show. I guess they were in the vocal minority.

Yes, a season 2 looks like it’ll be in the cards. Redemption will feel so good, especially in the adversity of the far right people who said the show wouldn’t last another season yet never gave the show a chance and watched to give it ratings.

They're all butt hurt about the lunatic fringe known as Roseanne being pushed out. Because she was one of the crazies like them. So then they got all riled up and tried to protest/boycott the show. Well it obviously didn't work out for 'em.

It worked perfectly fine for us. In turn we got a better show with more in depth character development for the rest of the cast. I'm personally enjoying the more Darlene and Becky driven storylines. We finally get to see Dan at his most vulnerable in the series history (including the original series). With her gone we might actually see more older characters return. Like I'd mark out for a return of Arnie. Season 2 of The Connors gives them the opportunity to do so. Hell we could even get a episode return of Ziggy.
