Default Lisa Bonet and Cosby feud revisited

When the feud between Lisa Bonet and Cosby was reported in the media in the late 80s and early 90s the media and public took Cosby's side. They made much of Bonet's adult film Angel Heart saying she is destroying the image of the show. She was fired and disrespected to point she was not part of the last show. She recently said she saw Cosby having an sinister energy. I think she did not want to put up with Cosby's darkside for money. He punished her for it. Yet I believe she has been vindicated

I wonder if Bill Cosby had Denise (after she returned to The Cosby Show following her stint on A Different World) marry Martin as retaliation for Lisa Bonet making Angel Heart? Cosby for all intents and purposes, wanted saintly and perfect images for his child actors. On that end, he wanted the traditionally quirky, Bohemian acting Denise to be "normal". But still, don't you think that it's odd that a conservative, Navy guy like Martin would marry a girl like Denise (a woman with long dreds, colorful clothes and piercings)?

I always liked Denise on The Cosby Show (not so much on A Different World), but I think she was the most interesting daughter of the four, and definitely better than Sondra, who kind of replaced her as the oldest sister. It was disappointing that Denise (Lisa Bonet) was not in the last year/finale and TV Land reunion. Now, I'm glad Lisa Bonet has a small vindication.

It recently came out in an interview on YouTube that Debbie Allen wanted to work in Bonet's pregnancy into the show for S2 but Cosby refused and said I'll bring her back to the Cosby Show as Lisa Bonet is pregnant not Denise Huxtable. I would argue that they could have worked around it and hid it like they did Phylicia's pregnancy on Cosby Show. Allen wanted her in the revamped series and even had Tomei's character eventually hooking up with Dwayne Wayne with his mother objecting to him dating a white woman. It would have been an interesting storyline.
