She must have been a heavy smoker. In scenes where she's in shock it seems like her voice gets lower and lower and lower.

Charlotte, if you go to YouTube and search "Grayson Hall Teaches Method Acting", you'll find the clip someone put there. It continues with "Grayson Hall Teaches Method Acting, Part II" and goes up to "Grayson Hall Teaches Method Acting, Part V". They are hilarious over-the-top clips. Too funny!

When Karl (John Karlen) is whining, whimpering asking where's my Pansy....Where can Pansy be? When in the graveyard he hears music then her voice he actually starts skipping and hopping in delight.
In episode 778 -9 1/2 minutes remaining Magda brings in a magical hand to end a curse. She thinks it moved and lets out a scream like never heard before. |

When Bathia Mapes, the good witch, forgets her lines in the Tower Room as she attempts to exorcise Barnabas and free him from Angelique's vampire curse.
You actually hear someone off-camera say to Bathia: "Take him to the house of the curse!" as Louis Edmonds stands there, with a particularly pained expression on his face, hoping the poor woman gets the line. |

LOL, Charlotte! They left the camera on the safe for a short while and then had Julia ask that question. I also like this part of the scene regarding the book:
Julia: "One man wants this very much." Tony: "Who?" Julia: "No questions." Tony: "What's in it?" Julia: "You heard me." Then, when Tony thinks Roger is the one who wants the book, Julia goes into her over-the-top crying fit and says "I wish it were Roger". The scene is absolutely uproarious. |

It is hilarious. The guy playing Tony should have won an award for staying in character with her as a scene partner.

You gotta hand it to Jerry Lacy for keeping a straight face throughout that scene. At one point, he shakes the hysterical Grayson with both hands and shouts "MISS HOFFMAN!"

Roger's "incestors" line will always be my favorite, but there are *so* many others, and not just flubs but genuine lines. Quentin had a lot of good ones. I loved his sarcastic sense of humor. Off the top of my head, I remember a scene where Edward and Judith are arguing over their grandmother's will and Quentin says something like, "You two are equally matched. Shall I serve as referee?" I busted up at that.

How about when Quentin Collins (David Selby) is telling his friend and fellow Black Arts practitioner, attorney Evan Hanley (Humbert Allen Astredo), about his great concern regarding his newly arrived and very mysterious relative from England, saying, “My cousin, Barnabas Cousins, I mean Barnabas Collins!”?
Another classic DS moment occurred during the 1897 story line, where the insane Jenny Collins (Marie Wallace) whacks her gypsy sister Magda Racosi (Grayson Hall) over the head with a heavy book, and as Magda begins to fall to the floor, Magda has the presence of mind to grab a hold of her long, black wig so it doesn’t fly off of her head as she’s hitting the deck. |
