^Good ones!

There's one where Roger (Louis Edmonds) goofs up his line and says "All my incestors are buried here."

I remember the incestors one! haha, that was at the beginning when they were looking for David when he got stuck in the crypt for two days.

I used to think Louis and Carolyn (don't remember her real name) had crushes on each other so that's why he said that. But I found out later he was gay.

Default Ha ha

When the hysterical mechanical bat attacked Barnabas or another victim.Their screams are so phony. It's like a half laughter and a half scream.

My two favorites include Grayson Hall:

When she wants Jerry Lacy to hide the book in the safe. He mistakenly thinks she's in danger of Roger Collins. Grayson goes into her hilarious over-the-top method acting "Roger. Oh, oh, oh, no. Roger, no, oh, oh. I wish it were Roger." LOL!

When Grayson discovers Dr. Lang's headless creation and screams bloody murder. Barnabas and Dr. Lang try to pacify her. But she flees and telephones the police. Too, too funny!

I loved Jerry Lacy's Reverend Trask, but sometimes he was SO over the top with his fire and brimstone.

It would be interesting to have a poll to see who everyone thought was the worst actor on the show.

There were times I wanted to smash both fire and brimstone Reverend Trask and biddy Abigail Collins. They were so nasty!

Don Briscoe I like, but he's a bad actor.

Don't you think your namesake has a hard time with screaming scenes. She has a low voice and it get really low when she screams. Or if she's getting a head cold than it's even funnier.

She had so many screaming scenes it's hard to picture the show without them. Watching "Dark Shadows" without Grayson screaming would be like watching "King Kong" without Fay Wray screaming. (I get a kick out of Grayson's Dream Curse scream, too.)

Barnabas fends off a werewolf by striking it with his cane, but the cane bounces off the werewolf and accidentally hits Barnabas in the head.

One flubbed line, screw up, miscue after another. But with all this still a fabulous wonderful quality show.

The shows today are all Jim Belushi like .Highly polished but no talent.

DoctorJuliaHoffman, did Grayson Hall study Method Acting?

Charlotte, I don't know if Grayson ever actually studied method acting. Method acting is when an actor recalls events or actions from his own life to use for his performance. I doubt Grayson had to draw for her own experiences of discovering headless bodies, etc. to create her hilarious screams. Her over-the-top performances have been dubbed "method acting" by those who've put Grayson Hall compilations on YouTube.
