Many people have called Seaquest DSV the under water version of Star Trek. In addition to the mission of helping keep the peace, it seems like they copied the idea of having a smart teenage on the ship. Wesley Crusher and Lucas Wolenczak were not only both very smart, feel isolated and often are pushed around by the adults on board.

I really liked the show, even after they changed it (different, but still good IMHO).
I'm sorry it didn't capture more of an audience; it kind of put me in mind of a less crazy "Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea", a show I loved as a kid. |
