"Ballers" Gets Summer Premiere Date on HBO
by Erik Pedersen March 14, 2017 The new season of HBO comedy "Ballers" is set to premiere Sunday, July 23rd. Airing at 10pm, the 10-episode third season starring Dwayne Johnson continues to follow the lives of former and current football players, centering on former superstar Spencer Strasmore (Johnson), who has reinvented himself as a financial manager for current players in sun-drenched Miami. The series created by Steve Levinson was renewed in July, and it was announced in November that production was moving from Florida to California to qualify for the Golden State’s tax credits program.
