As of last week (don't know exactly when..) Teennick has pulled Sam and Cat off the lineup completely. Sam and Cat had been regularly airing on Teennick 7AM weekdays and weekends since May. I bet it has something to do with Ariana Grande remark. Victorious (also supporting role Ariana Grande) is still running on Teennick.

Ariana Grande isn't the problem, Nickelodeon ordered 20 more episodes in season 1, which is 40 episodes since the ratings were doing extremely well. However, the excessive order of massive episodes seem to be tiring to the cast. And the feud would be the cause for this since two casts showed up late in rehearsals and emotions running high. Jennette McCurdy going through personal problems and Ariana Grande had been hitting her career singing high. So overall it's Nickelodeon's fault for ordering more episodes, not Ariana.

But based on her behavior for being diva, I'm not surprised with that. Ariana didn't even want to be an actress in the first place.

Jennette McCurdy's mother died of cancer in fall 2013. And she skipped attending KCA 2014 and she tweeted that Nickelodeon put her in uncomfortable situation. And these several racy photos of her have been leaked though she said that wasn't the cause for cancellation or hiatus. Jennette unfollowed Ariana on twitter or any social media. The feud started that in Apr 2014. Jennette wanted more money because she thinks Ariana has more money than her. But Ariana said they are being equally paid. That could be the cause of cancellation

Sam & Cat ended after just one season in 2013 — and Grande's friendship with co-star Jennette McCurdy was a casualty of the show's cancellation.

McCurdy skipped out on the Kids' Choice Awards in March 2014, citing alleged "mistreatment" from Nickelodeon and hinting that Grande was to blame for not standing up for McCurdy in contract negotiations, leading to some shady subtweeting between the starlets. Grande pointedly omitted McCurdy from a long list of thank yous she posted once the end of Sam & Cat was officially announced.

McCurdy insinuated that she cut a friend, who many believed to be Grande, writing, "We aren't better friends because being friends with you takes the 'better' out of me. In fact, I might possibly be the worst version of myself when I'm around you … Where did I go? As far away from you as I can get.
