I do have showtime I actually prefer it over HBO. I love their shows such as Leap Years. Very good show.
Anyways I have seen it, and some of the stuff on the show is disgusting and very much a stereotype of gay men. But look out guys Showtime is actually planning on doing a lesbian version of Queer as Folk. Because they have had success with QAF. |

Put it this way, our Nathan was thin, tall, blonde and - I don't mind saying it - rather handsome. Judging by Rainman's pic in his siggy he's a million miles from that description! ![]() Soz Nate - no offence, K? |

I've seen a few episodes, but I cant watch it regularly, but I could get into it if I get the living room to myself, cuz I dont get Showtime in my room just the 72 channels of standard cable....

Hmmmmmm, the first few episodes of the UK QAF were pretty heavy on the sex scenes. I think this was just to get people interested cos after a while the sex scenes got fewer and less explicit. Like I mentioned previously, the UK version had a lot less episodes that the US version (as all UK TV shows do) and the US version explored a lot more issues that the UK version did. But, even although I found the UK show to be better, I did still enjoy the US interpretation (and the women - namely Melanie - in the US version were waaaaaaaay hotter!! ). I strongly suggest you programme your DVD player or VCR to play UK DVD's/tapes and get a copy of our version of the show just to see where it all started from. If you care, the original scripts from the UK QAF are available in paperback and are easily found on most UK book websites. I have a copy and it's well worth a read. |

I have only seen like one half of an episode, but did find it entertaining while it lasted. I don't have Showtime though, which is a pretty big factor of why I never see it.
