I didn't see anything wrong with Moesha's dad. He was a good guy. TVFactFan, he wasn't corny at all. Why do you think he was supposed to be a cool guy? You got some black men actors that play dads on tv and they don't have to be cool to their kids all the time. Fathers shouldn't be trying to be their kids friend. John Amos was always serious on Good Times and he did a good job. I think the reason why he left the show is because the producer and writers probably had a problem with him being too serious.

I couldn't stand the dad on this show. His haircut, he was so corny and whitebread. I wanted to rip my hair out everytime he did that stupid Heh heh laugh.
