I Dream of Jeannie. Although I do like "Bewitched," - just not as much. Tony had the added burden of trying to hide Jeannie from the rest of the world as well as her magic. Darrin never had to try and hide Samantha, just her magic. I know in the last season of "I Dream of Jeannie," Tony and Jeannie married and then everyone knew about Jeannie, but I feel that took away part of the fun of the show.

I have always preferred Bewitched to IDOJ. As a kid watching Bewitched, I guess it was more entertaining to me - the magic that Samantha did seemed better, plus Tabitha was about my age so I enjoyed watching her on the show. Jeannie seemed just too subservient, and the way she whined to Tony really bugged me. (I do like Babara Eden as a person, though. I liked her acting much better in "Harper Valley PTA".) Sam was much more independent, and I liked the way she often stood up to Darrin.

It's pretty much a tie. But IDOJ wins.

I Dream of Jeannie is my favorite. I love Jeannie's spunk and independence.

I have to go with Dream of Jeannie. It just seemed to me more fun and exciting to watch, with all the outlandish plots and memorable supporting characters. Though honestly, I've only seen very little of Bewitched, which struck me as somewhat bland. It's nowhere near being a "bad" show, but given the two, Jeannie is my favorite without a doubt.

Bewitched.

I don't think I've ever seen a full episode of "I Dream of Jeannie." I just could never get into it. I didn't like the "master" angle.

I was never really into either of the show, but I do prefer Bewitched over I Dream of Jeannie.
