Default Bewitched or I Dream of Jeannie?

Growing up I used to love I Dream of Jeannie but never really got into Bewitched--it's been at least ten years since i've seen IDJ. Surprisingly i've been enjoying Bewitched more than IDJ. Who's more attractive Samantha or Jeannie and which is the better character?

I've read somewhere (Complete Directory of Prime Time Television?) that ABC was going to either renew The Paul Lynde Show or Bewitched--one or another but not both. Since Bewitched was on for years, the producers chose to renew the Paul Lynde Show. But yesterday at epguides.com I read that the show was renewed for three more years but Elizabeth Montgomery declined.

I forgot to answer my both question--Samantha is much hotter than Jeannie.

Jeannie. I couldn't stand Darrin's "don't do any witchcraft" attitude. I'm also one of the rare few that likes the second Darrin better than the first.

I always enjoyed Jeannie better. But I thought Liz was more attracive that Barbara, especially in those later years. I liked the later seasons of Bewitched better too than the later seasons of IDOJ. I didn't like the idea that they got married.

Bewitched. Although, I don't see why Darrin didn't want her to use witchcraft. I also think Samantha is more attractive (if only she wore Jeanie's outfit ) and she is the better character. Samantha was more independant than Jeanie, who just worshiped Tony Nelson.

I preferred Bewitched, and I thought Elizabeth Montgomery was prettier than Barbara Eden even though both are prettier. I love Bewitched, but I only like I Dream of Jeannie. O_O

Bewitched. Something about IDOJ is 'ugh' to me.

I'm not that too fond of I Dream of Jeannie, because it always seemed like Jeannie was always getting into trouble or was trying to be the center of attention, when she was actually getting in the way of things. I like Bewitched, because I thought Samantha was intelligent, kind, and adorable, I thought that if she was in a difficult situation, she would always find her way out of it and she always knew when to use her magic and when it wasn't necessary.

Defintely Bewitched. I like Samantha so much more than Jeannie. Jeannie's "Yes, Master" got old pretty quickly, imo. I also liked the supporting characters more in Bewitched, especially Serena.

I like 'I Dream of Jeannie' most but I've been getting into 'Bewitched' lately too.

Before I read (and become influenced by) the replies to my original post, I just want to say that after TV Land's Jeannie marathon I fell in love with the show all over again. The B&W episodes are by far the weakest ones. If we were able to change our votes, i'd change mine to IDJ.
