^^ They probably have additional taping dates which have not been confirmed, so unless we have confirmation of a Season-5 episode-order reduction, they may actually finish filming Season 5 in mid-April.
And CBS better announce something about 2 Broke Girls (likely another timeslot change) soon, before its last Wednesday episode airs (on February 10). I think they could put 2BG in the post-Big Bang Theory timeslot, and that way, they'll avoid having to put it back on Thursdays-at-9:30 until Life in Pieces finishes airing its first season and then move it to the post-BBT slot once the 2015 version of The Odd Couple is put at 9:30 upon its Season 2 premiere. Plus, I think Angel from Hell has 13 episodes ordered for its season 1. |

Given the way CBS had delayed and bounced this show around the schedule it is amazing they are getting the ratings they are. They should owe the show another season with a good stable timeslot. After BBT would help, but there is always the drop-off factor.
I am not sure the audiences for the 2 shows have that much overlap to retain most of the BBT audience. 2BG has definitely been a step-child this year for CBS. That lucrative TBS syndication deal is probably a factor. |

The Odd Couple is going post-TBBT, CBS probably wants that show to happen instead of giving 2 Broke Girls a bump in the ratings. There are also 7 unscheduled episodes of Mike & Molly.

It should be noted that Mom aired in the post-The Big Bang Theory timeslot during most of last season, and so did the 2015 version of The Odd Couple, and despite the audience drop-off being at almost 8 million from TBBT, neither show got cancelled after the 2014-15 season. The Big Bang Theory is only getting the viewership figures it is getting now because it is unique, and there's probably no other sitcom like it in TV history.
But right now, with the very limited timeslots for sitcoms on CBS for this season, compatability with one another sitcom shouldn't matter. I think this concept of which sitcom is "compatible" with which is debatable. Also, if Angel from Hell were to remain in its Thursday at 9:30 timeslot throughout the entirety of its season 1, it will have already finished that season (which probably has 13 episodes) by early April. It should also be noted, however, that primetime scheduling plans can be subject to change at anytime. So I still think 2 Broke Girls will have to move back to the Thursday night schedule after the end of its Wednesday episodes; CBS may not have any other choice. I don't care if the 2015 version of The Odd Couple ends up being put post-Mom instead; TOC 2015 could probably average 8 million viewers and still get cancelled at the end of this season, and its season 2 will spill into June. I don't see the 2015 version of The Odd Couple becoming a long-term player on the CBS schedule, or even be CBS's new flagship sitcom. How about trying 2BG on the post-TBBT slot just once, and see how it turns out? |

I doubt they are going to change those plans, either they let Angel From Hell complete its run and put 2 Broke Girls there, either they do that switch sometime earlier.
Last night's fast nationals have Mike & Molly outrating 2 Broke Girls... |

^^To make room for the last 11 episodes of 2BG's fifth season, some X:30 PM show on Thursday has to move, or be put on hiatus for a bit. I wouldn't want to have 2BG season 5 spilling into June like The Odd Couple (2015) with that many episodes remaining. What they should do to avoid this is put Angel from Hell on hiatus after the end of February, and starting mid-April, put AfH on Mondays and pair it with the final episodes of Mike & Molly. (Mike & Molly has already been cancelled, remember?) At least they're letting Life in Pieces finish its season in March.
The only reason I suggested 2BG for the post-TBBT slot is because I don't think CBS should waste the post-TBBT slot on a show that only gets to run abbreviated seasons and therefore is unlikely to have enough episodes for syndication. Plus, TOC 2015 got only half of TBBT's viewer figures last season. It doesn't help that TOC 2015's 13-episode season 2 starts in April. And in last Wednesday's final ratings, 2BG was adjusted up by a tenth, and 2BG and M&M's demo ratings were both at 1.6. M&M still had the higher viewership, though (6.84 vs. 6.34). |

Well latest episode of Mom barely outrated 2 Broke Girls / Mike & Molly so there is really no reason for CBS not to treat 2 Broke Girls better.

Well the mystery has been solved!
http://tvline.com/2016/02/08/angel-f...ane-lynch-cbs/ Angel From Hell Cancelled at CBS By Michael Slezak / February 8 2016, 7:00 PM PST Angel From Hell has traveled back to the other side. CBS has cancelled the Jane Lynch-Maggie Lawson comedy — and will yank it from its Thursday-night comedy bloc beginning this week, TVLine has confirmed. A repeat of The Big Bang Theory will fill the 9:30/8:30c time slot, before 2 Broke Girls moves in beginning Feb. 18 — the day after Survivor’s new season reclaims Wednesday’s 8 o’clock hour. Our sister site Deadline broke the news. After premiering last month to 8.1 million total viewers and a 1.6 demo rating, Angel From Hell took a tumble in Week 2, but then stabilized in the neighborhood of a 1.4 rating — two tenths below predecessor 2 Broke Girls’ average in the time slot. With DVR playback, the comedy grew 36 percent on average. Only five of the comedy’s 13-episode order have aired thus far. TVLine’s renewal scorecard has been updated with the information. |

IMDB has 17 episodes of 2BG now with titles and an 18th with no title yet through March. So unless it gets canceled soon it looks like it should be around 22 episodes running until May.
I hope the show survives even though the last episode about the guru was not their finest moment. Maybe a change or two is in order so they can add new characters and situations. They keep having to stay at the diner and get all the characters in somehow then work in another job or something to get outside the diner. The diner scenes are Han being small joke, Sophie's "Hi Everybooday" spot, Earl's one-liner and Oleg's off-color one-liner. That is making the show look stuck in a rut. The short-term 2nd jobs are getting thin also. |

Yeah it's almost surely 22 episodes now, 11 left to air in the old-new timeslot.

2016 episodes have been weak so far... Now we're gonna have a film-within-the-show arc?

They do need something new after 5 seasons. I'd hate to lose the diner characters - Sophie I could live without- but some change is needed. MAybe this arc is it or they will suddenly drop it just like several other ones that put them right back in the diner. |

^Well the most recent one was pretty cool in fact! But the way they interpolated dinner scenes was a bit weird, I agree they need to spice it up.

Judging by the remaining Thursdays, 22 episodes is almost completely sure now.
This new arc is still weird due to the constant calls to the diner. Plus it's obvious Randy will be gone soon just like Deke in Season 3... |

The audience would be distraught if there were an episode where they couldn't cheer Spohie like they did for Al Bundy and Fred Sanford. It has to be some kind of inside joke. |
