ABC Cancels "The Neighbors"

"The Neighbors" has joined the ranks of the Alphabet Net cancelled series.

At least it went 2 seasons, they should have moved it back to Wednesdays.

I'm going to miss it. I was one of the few that actually enjoyed it and never missed an episode.

Same here and I knew it would fail when it moved to Friday nights, but I still watched.

ABC never gave the show a chance. ABC didn't lend it a lot of support. ABC focused upon other sitcoms and then moved it to Friday nights. That decision was very telling.

I think that the only reason it got a Season 2 was because they needed a half hour show for their schedule and figured it would be cheaper to renew it than produce another show.

And ABC was been on a war-path in regards to cancelling shows left and right (regardless of their actual potential like Trophy Wife as an other example). This show was probably the first one that got axed.
