I wouldn't say it's my favorite of the Disney sitcoms on now, but I like it pretty well. (I think "Austin & Ally" would be one of my main favorites right now because of the music. And it's just funny anyway.)
But "A.N.T. Farm" is good too- kind of a junior high version of "Head of the Class", as far as premise goes- but on a much goofier level.

I didn't really care that much for the show to begin with, but I'm really not totally liking all the changes in the current season. I'm starting to wonder if this show may not be wrapping up soon, as other Disney sitcoms are ending their runs too.

But then again, it hasn't been on very long.

However, I think it will be on for a while because it's a really cute series. Not many shows make me laugh as much as ANT Farm.
I like this show. It's fun and it has a lot of great little jokes. Some of the jokes are obvious, but it's still fun to hear them!

I wish I could agree with that, because it tries to present itself that way, but honestly I can't. One of the things that always bothers me about the show was the bad habit of making the guys complete idiots. Fletcher is supposed to be an artistic prodigy, but he can't tell a chicken from a duck? Gibson is supposed to be their mentor, but in one episode he can't count shoulders or necks, or some dumb thing? Seriously WTF is up with that?

China Anne McClain and Sierra McCormick are incredibly talented, though. That can't be denied. And the show does have it's moments.

Definitely agree there.
But yes- I also get quite tired of presenting all the males as idiots. (Not only on this show- it's kind of a trend on a lot of shows.) To be fair, Paisley is a female on the show that's also presented as a blithering idiot. But it seems there are way too many portrayals of males as stupid or clueless and I get tired of that. (I also get tired of females being presented that way too, for that matter.)

Default The original premise of this show never made any sense

I understand that the show is completely different in concept from when it started but from what I know the original series started out as 11-year-olds being in high school due to possessing a particular talent.

Um...yeah...you don't automatically get to skip a few grades because you're a good singer or you have a super memory. Wouldn't you still have to be academically sound in all the basic high school subjects in order to actually apply for the high school upgrade?

I could see why they ended up writing themselves into a corner later in the show.

I hope that I don't get in trouble when I say this, but I'm really transfixed in episodes that involve Allie DeBerry (Paisley) dancing:

I hated what they did to this show when they had them move from their school to that "specialized" school. I couldn't watch it anymore after that and although it surprised me a little that they were canceling it after three seasons, I guess I shouldn't have been surprised. They should have kept it the way it was. It was much funnier and wasn't the whole point of the show that it was about a group of kids who were so gifted that they were sent to high school and had to "mingle" with kids who were older? I think Disney did a huge disservice to fans of this show when they changed the whole format. I watched the last episode and even it wasn't very good. Such a shame b/c it was a good show at one point. I looked foreword to watching it.

Yes but you know are things are now..... TOTALLY STUPID AND HORRID!!

Its no surprise they could leave GOOD alone!! (Poor kids probably didnt like it themselves which is why they are ending it)
