They should just come back in season five and restore it back to where it was. Just write off season four as Molly having some kind of middle-age crisis or something and she's okay now.

Why they fixed a show that was just fine as is baffles me.

If something works, leave it alone!

Yeah, I'm guessing McCarthy will want either want a substantial raise or to be done completely within the next year or two, and the show isn't really a big enough hit to warrant either a raise or a continuation after losing its main star. So I'm guessing it probably wraps up then. CBS left it off of the fall schedule two years in a row so I don't think they'll be pulling too many ropes to keep it on the air.

I'm surprised that it's not a stronger show in terms of ratings, because Melissa McCarthy is so big right now at the movies.

It's too bad that a nice little show had to be "fixed" and pretty much ruined because of some misguided notions on behalf of Chuck Lorre and his crew.

The show has one of the great ensemble casts on television. Melissa was great as she was. She's not Lucille Ball.

I agree.

But is it too late to restore M&M to its' former glory?

Or are the vultures hovering, waiting to put the show out of its misery with cancellation?

We will see.

Mike & Molly has never been a showcase for Melissa, or anyone on the show for that matter. It sort of limps along.

Her big $37 million "Identity Theft" weekend begs the question: "How much longer will she be on TV?"
Reviews for "Tammy" have not been good, and the box office was somewhat disappointing. It looked uninteresting to me.

While there are some good comedy films out there, for every one "good" comedy movie, there are 5 that are simply terrible. It is a one-note joke dragged out over a 90- to 120-minute period. Comedy films suffer from weak plots and poor jokes. Yes, "Bridesmaids" was good, "Identity Theft" was good, but then along comes another predictable Paul Rudd comedy, or a painfully dull Seth Rogen film or Hollywood's new funny guy...Jonah Hill...who is about as funny as an infected boil.

Sometime ago, I asked this question: "Especially with her blossoming film career, can anyone here estimate Melissa McCarthy's per-episode salary for Mike & Molly?" I thought it was around $200,000.

"Stay Safe"? More like "Stay Sad".

If I can quote Daniel Bryan, the answer based on this past season which I didn't even finish would be...YES!! YES!! YES!! YES!!

Melissa has talent, but she is becoming typecast, and TBF she is inviting some of it as some of her roles are HER idea. She needs to do something different, she can play a straight person (see: Sookie, and Molly from S1-3).

I like her, really, and I want her to succeed in a world with stricter and stricter beauty standards. But not this way.

Bridesmaids and Heat are my favorites.

LOL@ILuvCarolBurnett dissing Jonah Hill, Paul Rudd, Seth Rogen hahahahahahahahahahahaha. Jonah Hill and Paul Rudd are corny. Seth isn't that bad. I liked his Neighbors movie. I agree with Robyrob that Melissa McCarthy needs to do different characters instead of playing the same over the top comedian all the time in her movies. I'm gonna rent Tammy tomorrow from the video store.
