It's been a long time since I've seen this show and unfortunately for "My-So Called Life" and all the 'two decades later' (and it's still hip) pundits, the show had it's knees completely cut out from underneath them when "Freaks & Geeks" premiered 5 years later.

It was one of my favorite shows at the time, but it is now severely dated.

But yes, the pilot was in fact the best episode of the entire series.
