By the non-Richie seasons the clothing was very anachronistic: Fonzie's look was not of the mid 60s but looked like someone in the 80s playing someone in the 50s, Joannie's perm and Chachi's entire look were of the 80s (he never looked of the era), Mr C wore tinted glasses and had too much hair for a middle aged conservative man in the mid60s and except for the last season Marion was still wearing the beehive and hoop skirts which went out of style when Kennedy became president. And the miniskirts were too short for the mid60s as well. It just looked lazy.

That s funny!! Its true though.! Mind you if you concentrate hard and pretend that the show was in the 60s history shows some people where maverick and other were anarchistic...like richie grew long hair and a mustache ...not bad for 65 66 like john and paul george and ringo? do you think the characters got influenced by sgt pepper? All you need is love! They all got psychadelic on evryone!
LOL. I remember Mr C tinted glasses like what happened there? In a scene playing golf casually like no one noticed ! LOL LOL As you say it thats too funny as i think about it!

Ya like I saw dick van dyke wear that in his show! LOL! with bell bottoms! smoking greens with Laurie Petrie and her perm!LOL thats why always he fell over the small "I can see it in my way "chair! I m sure I saw Anson Williams had a tongue ring that year way before it was in!LOL! iam in a good mood today!

Heres one more....ready....the reserves army scenes with Roger Potsie and the Fonz. Potsie and Roger had a buffet of mullet! Coulnd even fit it under his army hat!LOL. As if even in TV we couldnt do something about that! Geez they should of at least made a pony tail!LOL and say go with the times! it s 1964 year of the mullet! LOL! ya...and a butt whippin for sure in those days!LOLLOL! have a good day guys!

dickswift,
The only problem with the theory which you presented in your first paragraph is that, while the Beatles started to get a little different in late '65 and '66, the real psychedelic thing ("SGT. PEPPER", "Magical Mystery Tour", "All You Need Is Love") didn't come until 1967.

Later,
Art

Hey Corleone, here's a Godfather link you might be interested in. Enjoy.
CORRECTAMUNDO

In real life Henry quit smoking in 1978 or 1979 and his weight gain was obvious.
Q. When was the FIRST time he wore a black T-Shirt?
A. Season 5 Episode 11 - Bye Bye Blackball

But wearing black wasn't fooling anyone.
