(and yes, I clearly have no life to have gone through 325 episodes in a month!) |

If this Mary Hartman set ends up being a big seller, then I see no reason why Shout Factory wouldn't want to release Forever Fernwood. There are 130 episodes, they could release it as a 13 disc set, 10 episodes each disc.
I started watching the Mary Hartman DVD's, I'm just a few episodes in but enjoying everything so far. Much of it looks familiar as I watched the series in 1976-77 when it originally aired. It was on Monday thru Friday at 10 PM in my area. Just too bad about the two edited episodes, but nothing we can do about that. Some episodes contain teasers for the next episode, some episodes don't have the teasers. The closing credits on some episodes are very brief, I don't remember if the closing credits were this brief during the original telecasts, perhaps the closing credits have been tampered with, I don't know for sure. |

The closing credits are a bit frustrating for me because I'm trying to document the cast members for my blog and I can't use the imdb (it has only very partial info, and only on the first 30 episodes or so). Sometimes guest actors are credited at the end of episodes they're in, often not. But if you look at the credits of enough episodes with a particular actor in it, eventually you'll see the name pop up in the credits. |
