Cover art has been posted on amazon for the complete series!
I'm surprised more people haven't flocked to the boards to discuss this getting released. |

This is good news, but I'll wait to get a little more information first before I dive in and place an order. My main concern is whether or not the episodes are the complete, uncut versions. When Sony put out the first 25 episodes a few years back, I believe edited episodes were put on the DVD's. It would be great if this package contained both Mary Hartman and Forever Fernwood totally complete and uncut, but that's probably not what it's going to be. It doesn't sound like Forever Fernwood is included in this release. If this release will include all 325 Mary Hartman episodes complete and uncut, I'll purchase it.
The run time listed for this release is 8100 minutes, that would be about right for a total of 325 episodes. But I'll just wait until after this gets released, read a few reviews and consumer comments first before I place an order. |

Just wondering how many people plan on picking this up. I've had my copy preordered since day one.

I might get it eventually. I can't afford to buy another box set right now, . I still haven't got Dobie Gillis. I did buy Mama's Family:The Complete Series, plus recently The Beverly Hillbillies, Petticoat Junction and Alice. But MHMH is going to have to wait.

Early comments I have read about this set have been favorable, sounds like the episodes are uncut, so I'm pretty sure I'll be ordering this. Shout Factory is sending this out now to people who order it from their website, but I'm not ordering it from them, I'll purchase from another source that offers it at a lower price. I'll probably order mine the day before the release date, it's only about a month away now, something to look forward to in December.

The absolute holy grail of holy grails for me, would be if the 1968-69 TV show "That's Life" would come out on DVD. That was the series with Robert Morse and EJ Peaker, a TV series about a young newlywed couple starting life together. It was a musical/comedy series, several musical numbers were performed in each episode, it was sort of like seeing a broadway play acted out live on TV. A really excellent show, classy and well done. I doubt it will get released on DVD, but I have fingers crossed and keep hoping. |
