So far during this sitting, I have posted three new threads on this page. The first of which was over an hour ago. I now see that they all have views but no replies. I also see that this has been pushed way down on the second page. Most of what has pushed it there is my failed attempts to stimulate some conversation about this fine series! In any event, I am wondering whether, bringing it to the top of the first page might insprie some newcomers to tell us what their favorite quotes from this series are.

I see that, a very short while ago, someone posted a very well-thought out reply to a post that someone else had started. Unfortunately, I do not really have anything to add to that topic. However, because I see a little more action on this board, I have decided to see what I can do by bringing some of my old favorites to the top of the page. This is my first such attempt.
