Default Favorite Gimme a Break! Quotes

What are some of your favorite GAB quotes?
They can be from any season or anyone.
Please try to give the name of the episode (if possible) &
who said the quote.

I plan on having a lot of fun with this thread! This is because I remember so many amusing quotes over the years. I will start things off by offering two quotes from the third season episode "Samantha's Protest". They are "I cannot believe the hight of your egotism! He was not whisteling at you, he was calling his dog!" and "That is absolutley disgusting!" Both of these quotes are from Julie. She was such a doll in my opinion!

I am very surprised that this thread has not taken off! Being that the weekend is more than half-over, I would think that there would be a lot of people with time on their hands ready to tell us all about there fond memories! Because no one other than me has responded so far, I will see if I can get things started by offering two my quotes that I enjoyed. This time I will offer ones from the first season. The first is by Nell and it is from the "Emergency". This one is "your purse, your purse"! The other is by Julie and it is from "Your Prisoner is Dead". This was goes, "it is just like you Katie to put your own personal lust ahead of Nell's pantyhose"! Oh the memories!

Loved the line about 'Nell's pantyhose'
That was Julie right?
I wish there were more GAB quotes on the internet.

Angie: I used to have trouble drinking with straws. Then I started taking the paper off them.

You are correct about the line about Nell's pantyhose being said by Julie. She said it to express sarcasm and hostility towards Katie.

Just going on memory here,
but what about the episode where Julie pointed out
to Katie the difference between clear & transparent?

Julie "Your nail polish is clear"
Katie (later) "My conscious is transparent"

You have essentially gotten right what went on with Katie and Julie's interaction regarding the nail polish. This was in "Samantha's Protest" which is the same episode that I mentioned when I first responed to this thread.

Wasn't sure if I was remembering the correct episode or not.
It sure is great to have all the episodes.

Some more quotes...

Chief- "What's a polywog?"
(Katie The Crook)

"Hiiii....I'm a Silver Slipper. I'm pretty, and popular, and on a warm day my IQ goes up to SEVENTY!"
(Julie's Rejection)

Nell- "That's good Julie. Now I want you to write that down, then eat the paper."
(Baby Of The Family)

Nell- "Your either eating Cream Of Wheat or Spic & Span."
(The one where they all overslept)

Can't remember the name of the episode on the last quote.

The title of the episode with that last quote, I believe was "Carl's Delicate Moment" from Season 4.

I know that at this point, it seems as if I am simply brining up old threads for their own sake! However, I would really like to stimulate some conversation about this fine series! This is my fifth attempt in the last twenty-four hour period.

Found one online.

"Chief: Look Nell, I gotta protect my little brother. I've always taken him under my wing.
Nell: Chief, the only wing your little brother can fit under is on a 747."
