Considering RTV's owner Luken is such a small company (50 employees if wikipedia is to be believed) I could definitely see a merger of sorts. If the much larger Tribune or Weigel, who own AntennaTV and MeTV respectively, would outright buy the network the most logical thing would be to (1) scrap the RTV brand altogether (2) roll RTV's current licenses in with their existing licenses and (3) offer AntennaTV or MeTV to existing affiliates as a replacement for RTV.

If I were Weigel or Tribune, right now would be an ideal time to make Luken an offer for RTV. Luken has apparently lost interest in the network considering they have a plethora of other digital subchannels and are probably focused on the relaunch of TNN in a couple months. Besides, the best way to eliminate competition is to buy them out.

Exactly! As it is, we have a healthy two network competition for the retro audience (I'm not sure if you can count This-TV in this mix since it is mainly movies) and RTV just isn't thriving, in fact it's downsizing.

Maybe Luken will just use existing RTV affils along with new signups to relaunch TNN.

Default For what it's worth

I noticed one person saying they are losing/lost their RTV Affiliate.

If you have a PC hooked up to your PC or something you can watch it online.

Just remember as 2 are Texas and one is Florida, they are all going off Eastern Time, so adjust your viewing as needed.

I just hope all episodes of Joey Bishop air before they take it off their channel.

Two eps only every Saturday are going to take a while to air.

I wish they would move it to weekday schedule.

Are there any online TV channels on Justin TV or elsewhere where you can watch Me-TV or Antenna TV? I can't find them anywhere!

Don't know why RTV is showing some non classic programming. Been hoping ME-TV would come to the area, but the latest sub channels added were TNN, ishop & that crappy LWN.

They show non-classic because basically all the classic libraries have been bought by Me or Antenna. Warner is the lone holdout for broadcast syndication.
