Caroline and Richard as a couple

Now that I've finished the whole series I have to say that had I been a fan of Caroline and Richard the way I am of Niles and Daphne on Frasier... I would have been TICKED had Frasier treated Niles and Daphne the way CITC treated Richard and Caroline. As much as I wanted them to be a couple during the first two seasons, I found myself wishing they would break up! The only times in Seasons 3-4 that it was even evident that they were a couple were when they would kiss. And that was on occasion!

I grew kind of tired of Richard's monotone voice and them bickering all the time. It's like why even bother going through all of the cuteness and so forth to get them together when they are just dull and lifeless as a couple? When Caroline had that brief fling (or infatuation) with Randy, I actually found that almost more interesting.

i take it you're not a fan of the caroline and richard ship like me. that's fine.

but for me, though there were problems during their time together and being polar opposites of each other, i just put all that aside and i really bought into their relationship, and so i loved them as a couple.
