They have been together since the early 90's. I think Tempestt was still on Cosby when they first got together. Where have you been? LOL

Also I think if viewers watched Sanford Arms and viewed it as the "WHEELER FAMILY" instead of a Sanford and Son spinoff they would have enjoyed it more.
Yeah, if one of the supporting cast was made the star of the show like Lawands Page, viewers would have caught on. At least the audience would have responded to the supporting cast because they knew them. They didn't know Teddy Wilson as this Wheeler guy.

You make a good point, all of the sanford and son supporting characters on Sanford Arms had minor roles which could be why people bailed. It didn't look like a spinoff at all, just a new black show about a black family living in the old sanford home

The Sanford Arms wasn't terrible. It wasn't given enough episodes imo! The first episode was pretty good with Grady apart of the cast. But I didn't like the second and third episodes. The best episode was actually the last one where the kids find out Phil was once arrested for hitting a cop who called him a "ni**a". I thought it was funny how the Cop ended up being black!

The show just came along at a time when it was only 3 channels. Today it would have been able to stick around a lot longer.

In the closing credits of Sanford Arms, the cast was leaving the Los Angeles Zoo which was the opposite of Three's Company when the cast was entering the Los Angeles Zoo

That's a connection to Three's Company?! I could see if the cast here bumped into the cast of Three's Company in the credits. Wouldn't that make it more of a connection?

Exactly. There's no connection to 3's Company it's just that both shows used the LA Zoo in their credits!

Well both casts were in the same Zoo so it just made me think of Three;s company. So maybe I should just have said it made me think of TC but really a connection

I used the wrong word, The show made me think of one of my favorite shows because of them being in the same location as the TC cast.

So not a connection just that both shows had something in common
