Default Looks like Sanford Arms was the worst black show in TV History according to the

Numbers.

Even though the numbers were extremely bad, I still think Sanford Arms was more watchable than the other black shows below

Grady.....ranked #88

Carter Country....ranked #78

Sanford Arms.......ranked #100

That's My Mama....ratings never confirmed

I just can't believe viewers back then wasn't atleast somewhat interested since they were familiar with the house and friends of Fred. The Grady show on the otherhand did slightly better but was more unwatchable with him living with his daughter.

Plus Sanford Arms had a small connection to Three's Company

I don't know if I would call Carter Country a black sitcom. There were more white characters than black. I don't remember much about Sanford Arms but I watched it until it was gone. I know it had to be better than most of the UPN sitcoms that came later.

I beg to differ. Homeboys In Outer Space and Under One Roof were the WORST EVER black sitcoms.

Those shows were able to stay afloat a little longer because UPN was in existence

Can't believe Darryl Bell went to star on silly sh*T like that

Also I think if viewers watched Sanford Arms and viewed it as the "WHEELER FAMILY" instead of a Sanford and Son spinoff they would have enjoyed it more.

I don't know why you can't believe it. He really hasn't done much since. The last thing that I can remember him in, was when he was on a reality show with Tempestt, and the show was about "famous" couples in Hollywood.
