The log is truly amazing! It brings back so many memories. TBS was TV Land before TV Land was. Their morning line-ups were especially good.

Today, the channel that has a good line-up in the mornings is WGN. They show "California Dreams", "Beverly Hillbillies", and "Happy Days". What WGN needs to do is get rid of the syndicated stuff like "Celebrity Justice" and "Beyond" and get more classic shows. My fantasy line-up for WGN after "Happy Days":

9:30- Newhart
10 a.m.- Green Acres
10:30- NewsRadio

I'm sure a lot of people would love that line-up.

That's how I felt while browsing through the log. Brought back a lot of memories!

Thanks, boechsner.

TBS brings back a lot of memories. The 3 Stooges, "Hazel", "That Girl" and other show definitely classics from back in the early 80's. Last year, while TBS added the sitcoms lineup, "Full House" usually on. It had a logo like this at the bottom right of the screen.

Sorry! TBS ended "Full House" in favor of other comedy blocks. Thanks for the list of schedules that TBS had it back in the 70's. The memories lives on.

How long ago did TBS use the block lettering, with just TBS in blocks, anyone remember that logo? I know it was before the word superstation was in italics. I might be able to get a screen cap if anyone needs to see it.

Default Thank You

That was great to see that TBS logboof of past schedules. When I look at TBS now, and then what they had along time ago, IMO, I think TBS was ALOT better in the 1980's-early 1990's.

I wish TBS would bring back Sanford and Son, I can always remember back in the 80s when I was a kid when my mother was fixing dinner I would watch Sanford and Son at 7:35 pm.

Those were the days.

Sorry to bump this up, but I did a follow up (a companion) listing the shows aired and when they aired. Check it out. (Not sure if boeschner was in the midst of one...)

Roseanne doesn't air from 3-4:30, or in your case 2-3:30 anymore. I think The Steve Harvey Show is in that timeslot now.

I'm new to the site, and first off I want to say thanks to boechsner for compling this list.

I'm working on a database/schedule for WTCG/WTBS/TBS from December 1976 when WTCG was first aired nationally to October 1, 2007 when TBS and WPCH split. So this list is a great help.

I was wondering if anyone had any more to add since boechsner released this list? I'm a collector of Braves games, and I've gotten a wealth of information from the games I've received that still had the promos intact. I've scoured youtube, and am currently searching newspaper archives online.

I'll be glad to share what I have, and am hoping more info surfaces from the great people here.

Thanks

Welcome to the site!!!

This is really an awesome list. Its a great job!! Also, in the log, lets not forget about Georgia Championship Wrestling/National Wrestling Alliance and World Championship Wrestling. They, along with the Braves, made WTBS what it is. Btw, wrestling was on there from 1972 to 2000.
