The ABC reboot, says Todd VanDerWerff, "commits halfheartedly to the idea of being a remake of 'Charlie's Angels.' The actors all seem mildly embarrassed to be there. The writers keep tossing in cheeky dialogue that’s meant to be amusing but is, instead, delivered somewhat dryly and without wit. At all times, there's an air of, 'God, isn't this terrible?
