Poor Vanessa - she lost her daughter last year, she lost her brother last month, and now she lost her sister. That's tragic.

I had actually forgotten about Redgrave's breast cancer until this news came out.

I remembered, but thought she had beaten it. She was diagnosed way back in 2003. Of course, she could have gone into remission for a while and it could've come back and spread throughout her body. That's what usually happens, unfortunately. My mom is a nurse at a Cancer center, it's really tough to get to know people and then find out that they passed away. Some even seem to be getting a lot better, it's scary.

Corin Redgrave's death got very little publicity (especially compared with his niece and sister) but he was a great actor as well. He died just last month.

I didn't hear of his passing myself until the announcement of Lynn's. This has been such a tough past year or so for the Redgrave/Richardson/Neeson families.

My condolences to Lynn Redgrave's (as well as her brother Corin's) family for this loss. In memory of Lynn, and as a tribute to the series, i flew to Dubai and stayed in a suite at the Rose Rotana Hotel for a few days.
