A former TV star known for cavorting on the beach is in hot water with the Internal Revenue Service, reports Walletpop.com.
An IRS lien has been issued against former "Baywatch" star Pamela Anderson for $1,700,173. This follows an earlier lien of more than $250,000 by the state of California. According to the report, Anderson released a statement saying, "Mistakes may have been made in calculating taxes owed and we are now in the process of ensuring that any taxes owed are paid http://www.walletpop.com/blog/2009/12/07/pam-anderson-hit-with-a-pair-of-tax-liens/?icid=main|htmlws |

....why Pamela appeared in an English pantomime of "Aladdin" (as "The Genie") during the Christmas holiday season. I read about this in the NEW YORK TIMES; apparently, some British producers pay certain American stars a handsome fee to participate in these pantomimes [Julie Andrews perfectly described what they are in her autobiography, "Home"; basically, they're "classic" renditions of fairy tales, featuring established comedians doing their "schtick" in character, a beautiful actress in a "male role", interpolated songs and comedy routines that sometimes have very little to do with the story, and encouraged reactions from the audience...and "special guest performers", including Pamela].

According to the Baywatch book, she had a bad deal with her agent, he had her in a deal where she basically worked for little or nothing and her agent got most the money. So she quit when her contract was up and fired her agent.
